Now that the 12 days of Christmas are over, it’s time to put away all the twinkling lights.

Teams were atop the historic Harrison County Courthouse on Thursday to remove the structure’s beloved Christmas lights. The lights are generally kept on the courthouse from the opening of the Wonderland of Light until the end of the year.

This year’s Wonderland has seen a high number of visitors and volunteers, the city’s communications coordinator Jasmine Rios previously said. She also said that the number of volunteers for this year’s festival was also high, with a number of churches and local organizations coming to volunteer their time at the festival with individual members of the community.

“Wonderland of Lights is a huge festival that wouldn’t be possible without the help of our community,” she said.
